Abstract

The aftermath of the Nuremberg Trials has left a stigma on using human beings as subjects of scientific research, where such acts are considered as reprehensible and unacceptable as it violates the dignity of human beings.Nevertheless, the undeniable lure of the scientific benefits of the biotech revolution has resulted in the quest for patenting and commercialization of products that have been developed as a result of research done on human DNA samples as well as human embryonic research
