Abstract

This article addresses the socio-technical fallacy of Artificial Intelligence (AI) as a value-neutral tool, asserting that its development must be anchored in Islamic epistemology to prevent a moral vacuum. By utilizing the Islamization of Human Knowledge (IOHK) framework, AI is conceptualized as a cognitive force multiplier that requires a robust ethical infrastructure to preserve the human fitrah and maintain digital integrity. The author identifies critical socio-technical risks, including algorithmic bias (zulm), predictive surveillance, and generative deepfakes (qazaf), which threaten the spiritual and social fabric of the Ummah. To mitigate these harms, the "Guided AI" Integration Model operationalizes Maqasid Shari'ah as a normative foundation, filtering technological evolution through the dimensions of architecture, human agency, and institutional governance. Ultimately, by aligning with International Islamic Fiqh Academy (IIFA) parameters, the article argues for synchronizing technological advancement with Divine recognition to ensure AI serves as an instrument for holistic human progress.
