Abstract

This study aims to develop and validate the content of SAHAR-Web, a digital training platform based on the SAHAR Model, designed to improve nurses' clinical decision-making skills in emergency departments (EDs). This study uses a Research and Development (R&D)-based media development approach with a focus on the design and content validation stages. The SAHAR-Web website was developed based on the six stages of the SAHAR Model: recognize cues, analyze cues, Prioritize Hypotheses, Generate solutions, Take actions, and evaluate outcomes. Content validation was conducted by three nursing experts with expertise in emergency nursing and nursing education. The assessment was conducted using a validation evaluation sheet covering aspects of material substance, presentation structure, visual appearance, and platform interactivity. Data were analyzed descriptively to determine the level of content validity of this training platform. The validation results from the three experts showed that SAHAR-Web has a very good level of suitability and applicability. All aspects evaluated, including content, alignment with clinical needs in the ED, interface design, and interactivity, were deemed valid without major revisions. The average validity score across all aspects fell into the “highly valid” category, indicating that this platform is suitable for use as a digital training medium for nurses in the ED. SAHAR-Web is a digital training platform that has been validated by experts and deemed suitable for use in strengthening nurses' clinical decisionmaking skills in the ED. This innovation offers a flexible, practical, and contextual learning solution to support improvements in the quality of emergency nursing care. Further research is recommended to test the effectiveness of SAHAR-Web in improving nurses' clinical performance through a larger-scale field trial.
