Br KAZZMAN KAMARUZZAMAN

Kazzman bin Kamaruzzaman was born on the 30th March 1982 in Wilayah Persekutuan Kuala Lumpur. He grew up in Bukit Katil, Melaka, where he attended Sekolah Kebangsaan Dato' Demang Hussin, and Madrasah al-Nuriyyah al-Diniyyah, Sungai Udang, Melaka. Later in 1994 he attended Institut Pendidikan al-Balaghul-Mubin, Rong Chenok, Pasir Mas, Kelantan to further his studies in the field of Tahfiz al-Qur'an. One year later he moved to another school which was al-Imam (International) Institute, Kubang Kerian, Kelantan. In the period of three years, Alhamdulillah, he successfully finished the memorisation of al-Qur'an. He later joined Kolej Hafiz, Klang, to develop his academic studies and later obtained PMR and SPM in 1998 and 2000 respectively. In 2001 he joined Darul Qur'an (JAKIM) and successfully obtained Diploma Tahfiz al-Qur'an wal-Qira'at. He then had further his undergraduate studies at the International Islamic University Malaysia in 2004 and successfully obtained Bachelor of Islamic Revealed Knowledge and Heritage; specialising in Qur'an and Sunnah Studies, and Political Science as his minor study. While also studying for his Masters Degree at the same university, he took up the position of Matriculation Teacher at the Centre for Foundation Studies, International Islamic University Malaysia in 2009. In 2011, he obtained his Master's Degree in Islamic Revealed Knowledge and Heritage, specialising in Qur'an and Sunnah Studies. His thesis dissertation obtained "excellent" grade from supervisor, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Ismail Hj. Abdullah and examiner, Asst. Prof. Dr. Serdar Demirel. Kazzman is currently a Matriculation Lecturer, at Department of Islamic Revealed Knowledge, Centre for Foundation Studies, International Islamic University Malaysia, Gambang Campus. And he was an Academic Administrator as Coordinator for Tahfiz Certification Programme JAKIM - IIUM from June 2019 - July 2021. And currently he is holding the position as the Head of Department of Islamic Revealed Knowledge.
