I am currently an Assistant Professor at IIUM Institute of Islamic banking and Finance. I published several research papers in international, refereed journals and contributed to two joint publications with IFSB. I have also received two best papers awards from Bank Indonesia and University Ez-zitouna (Tunisia). I am familiar with Matlab, RATS, SPSS, Eviews, Stata in addition to Python for performing machine learning techniques. I am extremely interested in continuing my research on concrete structures and lead professional service activities. My academic training and skills enabled me to be an effective researcher. In addition to my dissertation research, other areas that interest me for my future research namely, behavioural finance, risk management (political risk in particular), and market finance.
