I am Iyad Muhammad Eid, an Assistant Professor at the Department of Sociology & Anthropology, International Islamic University Malaysia (IIUM). I lecture in population and society, sociological theories and introduction to sociology at the undergraduate level. I focus on social change and development. I published several articles related to refugees. I have designed and implemented a research training programme for hundreds of students to acquire research knowledge and skills to investigate crucial issues in the Malaysian local community. Eventually, the research work was compiled and edited in a book titled Khalduniyyat.
