Dr. Muntaha bin Artalim Zaim is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Fiqh and Usul al‑Fiqh at IIUM’s Abdul Hamid Abu Sulayman Kulliyyah of Islamic Revealed Knowledge and Human Sciences, Gombak campus He earned his PhD in Islamic Revealed Knowledge and Heritage (Maqasid al‑Shariah) from IIUM and teaches in fiqh, usul al‑fiqh, maqasid, comparative jurisprudence, and fiqh al‑ta’ayush . He serves as editor for at‑Tajdid, IIUM’s Arabic journal of Islamic thought, and his research explores zakat’s role during COVID‑19, interfaith relations, and contemporary Islamic legal issues
