Dr. Puteri Nur Farah Naadia Mohd Fauzi graduated with Bachelor of Quantity Surveying (Honours) in 2010 from the International Islamic University Malaysia (IIUM). In 2014, she succeeded to upgrade her Master Programme to Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Built Environment focusing on takaful for construction works (engineering & technology). She was awarded with PhD in 2015 from the IIUM. Recently, she has completed her post-doctoral at the International Shari’ah Research Academy (ISRA), Malaysia. Her research focusing on micro-takaful properties for low income group in Malaysia. She has also completed the Durham Islamic Finance Summer School in 2018 from Durham Centre for Islamic Economics and Finance, Durham University.

Dr. Puteri Nur Farah Naadia is a member of the Procurement and Project Delivery System Research Unit, International Islamic University Malaysia, Kuala Lumpur and committee of the Journal of Quantity Surveying and Construction Business. Recently, she was invited as a visiting academic at Kyoto University Graduate School of Management. In addition, she is appointed as panel of academic moderator for the School of Engineering and Computing, INTI College.
Dr. Puteri Nur Farah Naadia has presented and published works on management, procurement, insurance, contract administration, project management, risk and risk management, takaful and micro-takaful in the field of engineering and technology, Shariah compliance insurance and risk management in construction procurement, properties and engineering, and Shariah compliance contract administration, procurement and management, and quantity surveying.
Her latest work; a book chapter on takaful for construction works is published in Concept and Application of Shariah for the Construction Industry. Shariah Compliance in Construction Contract, Project Finance & Risk Management by the World Scientific Publishing Co Pte Ltd (Singapore) and distributed worldwide.
Recently, her research on micro-takaful properties for low income group in Malaysia has been copyrighted under the Intellectual Property Corporation of Malaysia (MyIPO), 2018. In addition, her contribution towards the development of engineering takaful - CONTRACTOR'S ALL RISKS Framework for Loss and Damage Claims was granted PATENT file by MyIPO in year 2016. Her entry in the IIUM Research, Invention and Innovation Exhibition (IRIIE) 2014 was awarded the ‘Gold Medal Award’.
Dr. Puteri Nur Farah Naadia also contributes towards research. Currently, she is a Principal Investigator for Risk Management Framework for Wakaf-Zakat Housings. The research is part of the Transdiciplinary Research Grant Scheme (TRGS) under the Ministry of Higher Education. She is also a co-researcher for a Fundamental Research Grant Scheme (FRGS) focusing on the Developing A Proposed Model For Zakat-Waqaf Collaboration In The Provision Of Appropriate Housing For Needy Muslims In Malaysia. She has completed a Sponsored Research by the Institut Penilaian Negara (INSPEN) as co-researcher in year 2018. The research focusing on the A Study on the Need for a Comprehensive Guideline on Design and Planning (Quality and Standards) of Low-Cost Housing for Shari'ah Compliant and Development of An Innovative Model to Empower Wakaf Authorities in the Provision of Affordable Housing.
She has worked with the industry i.e. Juruukur Bahan Malaysia (JUBM) and involved with the development plan and construction of Monash University and development of Emerald West Plan, Rawang. She is also actively involved with the society through professional boards as she is the Graduate Member of Board of Quantity Surveyor Malaysia (BQSM) and GradRISM by the Royal Institution of Surveyors Malaysia (RISM).
