Dr. Imran Zainal Abidin obtained his dental degree from Jordan University of Science & Technology. He started his dental career with the Ministry of Health Malaysia and subsequently pursued his academic interest and joined Kulliyyah of Dentistry, International Islamic University Malaysia. He subsequently completed his specialist training in Endodontology at King's College London and obtained his Membership of Endodontics with the Royal College of Surgeons in Edinburgh and Masters of Clinical Dentistry in Endodontology from King's College London. He currently serves as a full time lecturer with IIUM. His research interest includes management of vital pulp therapy, and pulp and periapical diagnosis.
