This has enabled me to conduct targeted research to enhance the policy, legal and institutional aspects of land administration, development planning and development control including environmental impact and considerations, (popularly referred as Sustatainable Development Goals (SDGs).)
I started my teaching career with the International Islamic University Malaysia in 1993 and now as a senior law professor am committed to share my research output and experience through my writings.

I take pride in developing and training the government officials in land law, land development planning and control law, legal research and writing.
I have the privilege of serving the nation as a member of The Advisory Panel Of The National Land And Survey Institute Malaysia (INSTUN), Ministry of Land, Water And Natural Resources; Member of Advisory Board Of Land Administration Journal / Journal Pentadbiran Tanah, Journal of Department Of Director General Of Land And Mines, Malaysia, Member, Pertubuhan Professional Tanah Malaysia (PERTAMA), Coordinator and Lead trainer for the Certificate In Inter Religious Mediation Programme For The Department of Unity Malaysia, Prime Ministers Department, Malaysia.
As Associate Fellow, Institute Penyelidikan Tinggi Negara (IPPTN) (2019) focussing on the needs and future of higher education in Malaysia and globally;
At the international fora, I am a member of International Expert Group Endorsed By The Global Land Tenure Network (United Nations Shelter Branch) Land Administration, Islamic Land Administration, Sustainable Land Development And Environmental Planning Law, Urban Legislation Areas; Member of the International Committee of Conservation (IUCN)
I am also a Member of The National International Humanitarian Law Committee, Malaysia; The Inns Of Court, Malaysia.
I have been involved in developing and training officers from the states and federal government at national level and at the international level on legal aspects relating to the various SDGs..
