After graduating, I began my career in the legal profession as an advocate and solicitor that enabled me to gain first hand knowledge in corporate conveyancing and issues relating to security dealings, restraint on dealings, land dealings registration procedures and legal issues, This has enabled me to conduct targeted research to enhance the policy, legal and institutional aspects of land administration, development planning and development control including environmental impact and considerations, (popularly referred as Sustatainable Development Goals (SDGs).) I started my teaching career with the International Islamic University Malaysia in 1993 and now as a senior law professor am committed to share my research output and experience through my writings.
