For the past three decades I have been serving Department of Accounting, KENMS and Department of Economics and Management Sciences, CFS. I was seconded to Department of Accounting KENMS for 12 years(1991 - 2003) after serving the IIUM Matriculation Centre for 1 year. At KENMS I was assigned to teach 1st year to 3rd year Accounting and Business students, teaching several subjects such as Financial Accounting 1, Financial Accounting 2, Financial Accounting 4, Costing and Cost and Management Accounting. I Initiated the development of some courses and able to produce several teaching modules which was still being used after i left KENMS. Received a grant from the the Research Center to produce course module for Department of Accounting 1st year students. Was assigned to be Course leader for many semesters. Was also assigned to be mentors to students, junior lecturers, advisor to the B Acc Council, and supervisors for students internships. Actively involved in department and Kulliyyah's activities as needed. In 2003 I returned to CFS to serve the Department of Economics and Management Sciences. Was assigned to teach Accounting 1 , Accounting 2 and Introduction to Business. Was also given the responsibility to prepare and developed the course outline for Introduction to Business subject when it was first introduced at the department. Over the 20 years of teaching at CFS I was able to produces 5 textbooks; 2 books with Pearson Malaysia, and 1 book with Cengage Learning Asia ( 3 editions ), and countless compilation of exercises and questions modules. I served as Head of Department for more than 2 terms, course leader for Accounting 2 for countless years, Member of Curriculum Committee at the department and treasurer of the department's welfare fund. I have also been actively involved in curriculum development an the department, where i constantly liaise with the KENMS on any issues related to academic matters specifically Accounting subjects. I was also invited to share my expertise on the development of foundation program at Kolej Yayasan Melaka, when they initiated their foundation program. I had to review and comment all the course outlines under the foundation economics programs pro bono. I was also actively involved in preparation of exam questions for Kolej Matrikulasi for a few years before I took my unpaid leave. I was also assigned to be head of programs, and also many other committees during CFS family day. At the department and centre I was also involved in many SDG program i.e. Sejahtera Room, Breakfast Buddies, Healthy Snack Kits and many other activities involving raising funds for staff and students in need. I was also a facilitator for the Insan Sejahtera Program for TAWE. For 1 semester I volunteered to handle students Usrah classes due to insufficient of facilitators. In addition, I had received awards for Best teacher at the centre. for several times.
