Abstract
This project is designed to create a fire station development plan and fire vehicle allocation plan for five pilot project areas that are Kuala Lumpur, Selangor, Putrajaya, Pahang (Kuantan) and Sarawak (Kuching). This project has been awarded by the Fire and Rescue Department of Malaysia (FRDM) and the duration time of this project is about 14 months. This project is considered as a pilot project for the country and it will tested to state of Selangor, Kuala Lumpur, Kuantan, Putrajaya and Kuching This dynamic response system will be developed to FRDM is interactive and able to predict the time arrival of rescuer to the fire incidents locations. This project is focus to improve the FRDM fire response operation and same time providing direction for the future development plan for Fire Department. Considering other other related aspects such as case prediction, hotspot location and etc . Other than that, the main goal of this project also to plan for the improvement of response time that pursues to the purpose of this effectiveness and efficiency of FRDM (to achieve 8 minutes – standard given by EPU).
