Abstract

The global Muslim population have risen considerably by 2021. Parallel to that, the market for halal items is growing in tandem with the Muslim population. Pharmaceuticals primarily is the prominent industry that is targeted for the halal remarks because they are specific to a specific ailment, particularly cancer. Alternative products researched in accordance with Muslim guideline for halal products, in particular plant-based elements, are some of the safest raw materials for halal products. Since it has long been utilised in conventional medicine for various treatments, essential oil is a promising medicinal source. Essential oils have been shown to have anticancer properties in many previous studies. The objective of this paper is to study the potential of essential oils as a halal alternative therapeutic source for lung cancer.
