Abstract

The is a list of submission to NCBI Genbank repository for a collection ribosomal DNA sequences of Stenotrophomonas sp strains isolated from sponge tissues collected from Lang Tengah Island, Terengganu. These isolates are from Sten. pavani and Sten, maltophilia. Further characterisation works were carried out on these strains; and the results have shown that they are capable of producing salt tolerant protease with potential biotechnology application.
