Abstract

Writing for academic journals is highly competitive and are accompanied with challenges that will confront all academic writers regardless of their discipline. The challenges include whether the writing will be able to capture the interest of reviewers; how should the writer respond to reviewer feedback; is there a correct way to structure a paper and, should the writer always bother revising and resubmitting, among others. Hence, this presentation is basically aimed at addressing the above with my experience as a member of the journal’s editorial board as well as a reviewer to many law papers considered submitted to various international journals.
