Abstract
• Breastfeeding has been recommended as optimum and gold standard in infant feeding • Because of known benefits, most mothers want to give the best to their child by breastfeeding. • However some mothers have problems in breastfeeding but still adamant to breastfeed ended by pumping their breast milk exclusively. . 71% of women never heard of exclusive pumping before their child birth • 24% have heard about EP prior to giving birth felt more knowledgeable and confidence to give breast milk to their babies (Jardine et al, 2018)
