Both qualitative and quantitative research methods will be used. Interviews, observation and case studies will be conducted to understand the challenges and the responses. Then a survey will be conducted to empirically test the business capability model which will be formulated based on literature review and the findings of qualitative part. The findings of this study will help the SMEs to plan and prepare for the current business trend and the policy makers will get insights to achieve their target of globally competitive SMEs promised in SME Master Plan 2012-2020.
