Abstract

هذه دراسة تستجلي بعض أهم التطورات التي شهدتها الدراسات القرآنية في الغرب خلال العقود الأربعة أو الخمسة الأخيرة من حيث الرؤية والمنهج والموضوع معًا، اعتمد فيها الباحث بصورة أساسية على ما كتب في اللغة الإنجليزية أو ترجم إليها من لغات أروبية أخرى. وتسلط الدراسة إلى تسليط الضوء بصورة خاصة على ما صار يعرف في الأوساط الفكرية والجامعية الغربية بالمقاربة الأدبية أو التحول الأدبي في دراسة القرآن. وهو تطور يحمل خروجًا على ما ساد في التعامل مع القرآن من مناهج تكيفت واستوت في إطار المنظور الاستشراقي المتولد عن العقل الوضعي منذ القرن الثامن عشر على الأقل. وفي إطار هذا التحول يحتل في القرآن في ذاته باعتباره نصًّا ناجزًا مركز الاهتمام: دراسة لموضوعاته وبحثًا في طرائق خطابه وكشفًا لانسجام كلامه ووحدة سوره وآياته. وسعيًا لوضع هذا التحول في سياقه التاريخي من تطور تعامل العقل الغري مع القرآن الكريم، استعرضت الدراسة أهم المحاور البحثية والمواقف الفكرية والمنهجية التي سبقته وأفضت إليه بصورة أو أخرى. This study seeks to explore some of the major deavelopments in Qur’anic studies in the West over the last four to five decades in terms of perspective, method and substance. The author draws mainly on what has been written in the English language and has been translated into it from other European languages. The paper sheds special light on what has come to be known as as the literary approach or literary turn in the study of the Qur’an. This development marks a deviation from from the prevailing methodological approaches to the Qur’an that developed and took shape within the Orientalist paradigm which was itself a by-product of positive reason since at least the eithteenth century. In the context of this shift, the focus of attention is on the Qur’an in itself as an established and final text by studying its subjects and themes, examining the modes of its discourse and discovering the coherence of its speech and unity of its surahs and verses.
