Abstract

Speak English The Right Way is written based on a research done on learners' spoken corpus in higher learning institutions. It deals with essential social expressions that most learners fall short of using in the spoken form. This book thus fills this gaps. The approach is based on the natural way of learning a language. Listening to spoken English is the core component of this book. The lessons are narrated in dialogue form and learners are able to listen to the use of appropriate social expressions in many social situations. Learners can follow the lessons using the text. Grammar is explained in simplistically and contextually through incidental grammar descriptions.
