Abstract

عربية عريقة ذات سمعة طيبة في العالم العربي والإسلامي؛ حيث لنا خبرة طويلة في التعامل معها تصل إلى ست سنوات من النشر المشترك، تمخضت عنها مؤلفات تجاوزت العشرين عملاً مشتركًا، وأغلبها كتب تتناول الفقه والسيرة النبوية والاقتصاد الإسلامي وأصول الدين والتربية الإسلامية واللغة العربية. ولهذه الدُور العربية فلسفتها الخاصة بها في التعامل مع الكتاب الإسلامي؛ فهناك دُور نشر عربية ترفض المخطوط الإسلامي العام كونها تفضل الكتب الفكرية والفلسفية ولا مانع لديها أن تكون ذات مسحة إسلامية، وهناك من يتخصص في نشر كتب في مجال معرفي وعلمي محدَّد، وهناك من يتَّخذ موقفًا علميًا موضوعيًا صارمًا في قبول المخطوطات الإسلامية. ومثل هذه الدُور العربية تشكِّل تحديًّا للمؤلف العربي والماليزي بوصفه أستاذًا في الجامعة الإسلامية العالمية ماليزيا وغيرها؛ وهو نوع من التحدي المحفِّز الذي يدفع بالمؤلفين إلى تجويد كتاباتهم، والارتقاء بمستواهم العلمي وهم يكتبون في موضوعات إسلامية، بحيث ينتقلون من الأعمال السردية والوعظية إلى أعمال نقدية وعلمية مسكونة بهاجس الفكر والفلسفة؛ إذ بذلك ترتفع نسبة المقروئية وتشتهر دُور النشر. ولا شك في أن الجامعات والمؤلفين هم المستفيدون من هذا التغيير الذي باتت تفرضه دُور النشر العربية بوصفه شرطًا من شروط النشر لديها. يستعرض هذا البحث أيضًا تجربة دار المنظومة بالمملكة العربية السعودية في بناء قواعد معلومات عربية والالتزام بحقوق الملكية الفكرية. The IIUM Press has relationship with a few reputable Arabic Publishers in the Muslim world. This six years relationship has produced twenty co-published Arabic books. Most of the books are about Fiqh, Modern Islamic Economics, Fundamentals of Islam, Islamic Education and Arabic language. But co-publishing with an Arabic Publisher is not as easy as everybody thinks. The Arabic publishers are very picky and particular in the quality of the books they are willing to publish. This is because some of these Arabic publishers are very well known and are winning international book award every year. Therefore, these publishers want quality books only. What is a good quality book in the eyes of the Arabic Publisher? Quality books are book that is written with a high level skill of writing and philosophical writing. Philosophical writing includes questioning, critical discussion, rational argument and systematic writing. Therefore, Arabic/Islamic book writers/authors must produce high level scholarly writings. To achieve this, writers/authors must upgrade their writing skills and acquire more knowledge on philosophical writing. They must also read and research more to be able to elaborate more on their ideas. It is also suggested that the writers/authors should read and study in the field of their expertise and become an expert/specialist before writing a book. This will surely produce a very good quality scholarly work. As the writers/authors level of works/writings rises, this will benefit the readers and the publishers. There is no doubt that the university and authors benefit from this change because of the Arabic Publisher’s publishing condition
