Abstract

تتناول هذه الدراسة قضية أصالة الرواية العربية من خلال عرض وجهات النظر والآراء المختلفة للنقاد والأدباء المحدثين بين القبول والرفض، وقد تبين أن الرواية العربية المعاصرة لها جذور عميقة ممتدة من التراث القصصي العربي القديم، وفي نفس الوقت نجدها أنها مشحونة بالمعاصرة للروايات الغربية الحديثة التي أسهمت في تطور الرواية العربية المعاصرة، مع الأخذ في الاعتبار العوامل الأخرى. هذا وقد اُستخلص من الأشكال الموروثية القصصية أركان الرواية العربية المعاصرة ومقوماتها تثبت فعلا أن هذه المورثات القديمة أدت دوراً مهما في معاصرة الرواية العربية. فضلا عن ذلك سوف تتعرض هذه الدراسة إلى إرهاصات التراث القصص العربي القديم عبر العصور المختلفة، وأثرها في فن الرواية الغربية الحديث، ومكانة التراث الإسلامي في الرواية العربية المعاصرة. ثم الخروج بنتائج مهمة تنصب في مصلحة الرواية العربية المعاصرة. This study discusses the issue of the originality of Arabic novel by presenting the various views and opinions of the Modern writers and critic that range between refusal and acceptance. It also takes on the patterns of traditional Arabic narrative culture through the various eras and the influence they left on the modern Western narrative. Obviously, the modern Western novel has its roots extended to Arabic traditional narratives while at the same time it is imbued with the contemporariness of Western novels which in turn contributed to the development of contemporary Arabic novel, taking into consideration some other relevant factors. From the traditionally inherited forms of narratives, the foundations of Arabic novel were extracted and its elements had proven indeed that these old inherited traditions have a significant role in developing the contemporariness of Arabic novels. Kajian ini membincangkan isu asal usul penulisan novel Arab dengan memaparkan beberapa pendapat dan pendirian beberapa penulis dan pengkritik moden yang samada menolak atau menerima. Ia juga cuba menyingkap corak naratif dalam tradisi budaya kesusasteraan Arab melalui pelbagai era dan pengaruh yang ditinggalkannya dalam tradisi naratif Barat. Jelasnya, novel moden Barat mempunyai asal usul yang berakar umbi kepada tradisi naratif Arab tradisional namun pada masa sama turut mengandungi unsur semasa naratif Barat yang mempengaruhi kembali perkembangan novel Arab di samping beberapa faktor yang lain yang turut memainkan peranan. Bertunjangkan kepada corakcorak naratif tradisional yang diwarisi, asas-asas novel Arab dibentuk dan unsurunsurnya telah membuktikan sebenarnya yang ciri-ciri tradisi lama yang diwarisi tersebut sememangnya mempunyai peranan yang penting dalam mengembangkan ciri semasa novel Arab di waktu kini.
