Abstract
INTRODUCTION The International Islamic University Malaysia (IIUM) aims to reform the contemporary Muslim mentality through the integration of Islamic Revealed Knowledge and Human Sciences (IIUM Mission and Vision). This reinforces the objectives in producing well balanced intellectuals, who exemplify qualities of faith (iman), knowledge (`ilm), and good character (akhlaq). Having being trained in a setting that pays special emphasis in the inculcation of Islamic perspectives, IIUM can become agents in influencing the attitudes, values or behaviours of those within their professional and non-professional environment.
