Abstract

The chapter analyzes the philosophical and methodological underpinning of Malik Bennabi's response to the modern materialist anti-religious thought that developed in Europe and influenced over the last three to four centuries. It also discusses the implications of Bennabi's intellectualism in terms of providing a proper framework to answering post-modernist onslaught on religion. All this has been achieved based on profound study on his famous book "The Qur'anic Phenomenon".
