Abstract

This study intended to examine the effect of ground colour on memory performance. Most of the past research on colour-memory relationship focus on the colour of the figure rather than the background. This study tries to extend the previous works to the background colour and how its effect memory performance based on recall rate. This study used between group experimental design. There were three experimental conditions, coloured background, non-coloured background and coloured/non-coloured background
