Abstract

In Arabic, the word halal means permitted or lawful. Halal foods are foods that are allowed under Islamic dietary guidelines. Halal is not being just 'pork' and 'alcohol-free' but it is also comprises the toyyiban. Halalan toyyiban merely means allowed and permissible for consumption with relation to Syariah law as long as they are safe and not harmful
