Abstract

Incorporating business intelligence tools into Zakat Islamic charitable projects has emerged as a transformative strategy for tackling transparency, accountability, and operational efficiency issues. This investigation delves into the promise of modern technology as a pivotal facilitator in bolstering decision-making and transparency throughout the lifecycle of Islamic charitable endeavours, spanning from planning and execution to monitoring. By harnessing modern business intelligence tools and technologies, sophisticated data visualization, real-time analytics, and interactive dashboards, entities can enhance resource distribution, cultivate stakeholder trust, and catalyze meaningful community results. Key findings from this study emphasize business intelligence tools' potential to improve data traceability and accessibility across various Islamic charity initiatives, spanning humanitarian aid, education, healthcare, and community development. The platform's capacity to standardize reporting structures and offer practical insights empowers charitable organizations to function more effectively, addressing stakeholder concerns related to transparency and governance. Furthermore, the research delves into obstacles hindering the adoption of Power BI technology in overseeing Zakat Islamic charity projects, such as the need for technical know-how, financial constraints, and organizational preparedness. It also proposes strategies to surmount these hurdles. By emphasizing the use of Power BI to enhance decision-making, operational effectiveness, and openness, this study contributes valuable insights to the conversation on leveraging business intelligence tools to bolster the socio-economic progress of communities through Islamic philanthropic endeavors
