Abstract

This textbook introduces Hangeul (한글), the unique Korean alphabet created by King Sejong the Great in 1443. The alphabet consists of 21 vowels and 19 consonants, forming a total of 40 characters. Designed for learners of all levels, this book provides clear explanations of Hangeul’s structure and usage, along with step-by-step lessons on vowel, consonant, final consonant (받침), double final consonant, and liaison/connection rules.
