Abstract
The Research Excellence Unit of Research Management Centre (RMC) held a dedicated MyRA Tour workshop for KICT academic staff on Tuesday, 2 September 2025, from 2:30 pm to 4:30 pm. The session was designed to raise awareness and strengthen contributions to the university’s Malaysia Research Assessment (MyRA) report, with a particular focus on Section B4, G3, and G5, which cover awards, recognitions, memberships, and stewardship roles. RMC observed that contributions in these categories were relatively low and emphasised the need for academic staff to systematically record their achievements. To address this gap, the MyRA Tour provided briefing on how to use MyRepo (the MyRA Reposity & Contribution) System, which was introduced by RMC in 2021 to capture a broad range of academic and research-related accomplishments.
