Abstract

Objectives: This study is aimed to understand the emergence of the terminology of Islamization and its development; and to state the role played by the epistemology in the Islamization of knowledge; and to clarify the idea of Islamization of English language in the light of epistemology; and to explain the methodology of Islamization of English language in the light of epistemology; and to discuss the idea of Islamization of English language in the light of epistemology. Methods: The study, through the existing descriptive method, will track the concept of Islamization especially with regard to the Islamization of knowledge or epistemology. This will be done through finding the reasons and beginnings of the emergence of the terminology of Islamization and its meaning, and method of Islamization of various knowledge in the light of epistemology in general and the linguistic knowledge in particular. As for the analytical method, it will be in the analysis of the idea of Islamization of translation of the terminologies of English language in the light of epistemology, and the methodology with which this idea may be applied. Results: Among the most important results of the research is that the idea of Islamization of knowledge in general and Islamization of terminologies of the English language in particular, has its great importance, emanated from the objectives desired to achieve; as its importance, in principle, lies in its important role in approximation between the people and Islam, for the well being of the whole mankind. Conclusions: The study is aimed is to achieve a set of general objectives. In addition, the methodology of Islamization of the terminologies of English language in the light of epistemology needs to activate the process of epistemological recovery that will enable to develop theoretical history, theoretical knowledge of the history of sciences, as the necessary outcome of a science may be conceptualized, by linking its past to the analysis of its current status.
