Abstract

Freshwater ecosystems in Malaysia, like many other parts of the world, are facing increasing threats due to a combination of environmental and human-induced factors. Rapid urbanization, agricultural expansion, pollution, and climate change are all contributing to the degradation of freshwater habitats.
