Abstract
This scoping review examines the ethical and legal dimensions of informed consent in AI applications for dentistry and medicine, focusing on clinical use and AI model training. Given concerns about AI accuracy, transparency, and patient autonomy, the study aims to identify gaps in current consent frameworks. Following PRISMA-ScR and JBI methodologies, it will systematically analyze literature from 2015 to 2025, including peer-reviewed and gray literature. A structured screening and data extraction process will ensure methodological rigor, with findings informing the development of standardized guidelines for AI-informed consent in healthcare
