Abstract

This article explores the vital role of family within Islamic society, focusing on how Islamic values underpin the strength and stability of familial relationships. In the face of modern challenges such as economic pressures, cultural shifts, and technological advancements, maintaining these traditional values has become increasingly complex. This study seeks to understand how Islamic teachings on marriage, parenting, and kinship can be practically applied to reinforce family bonds, ultimately contributing to societal harmony. Through a qualitative analysis of classical Islamic jurisprudence (fiqh), Quranic injunctions, and Hadith literature, this research reveals that the preservation of family values grounded in Islamic teachings is essential for fostering social cohesion and moral development. The study highlights the enduring relevance of these principles in guiding Muslim families through contemporary challenges, ensuring that they continue to serve as a foundation for a just and peaceful society.
