Abstract
Postgraduate education is valued for its ability to offer educational institutions opportunities to develop their research capacities, bolster academic reputations, and achieve financial gains. The efficacy and calibre of postgraduate education heavily rely on the effective and efficient supervision of postgraduate students. Although its significance is profound, the teaching and learning process through postgraduate supervision remains incompletely grasped. With escalating expectations for high-quality postgraduate supervision, the supervisory role becomes increasingly demanding, given that postgraduate students originate from diverse ethnic, cultural, political, economic, linguistic, and educational backgrounds. Consequently, attracting and retaining these students becomes paramount for educational institutions.
