Abstract

An injunctive relief is also issued to order a party to do a particular act or thing. The court may grant an injunction in addition to damages where it is not adequate or in substitution for damages where it is not appropriate. In the context of torts, injunctions are granted mostly in cases of nuisance, trespass to land, and defamation, among others
