Abstract

مرّت بالمسلمين عصور كانت للأوقاف فيها مكانتها وقوتها ومضمونها في كل المجالات الاجتماعية، والاقتصادية، والتعليم، فقد كونت أفذاذاً من العلماء والجهابذة في كل الفنون، فدراسة هذا العنصر النافع ثم تشغيلها مجددا ًفي المجال التعليمي في بلد لا تتجاوز سكّانها أكثر من ثلاثة ملايين نسمة، تعدّ من أهم ما يسهر من أجله ويشدّ لها المئزر. ولعل هذه الدراسة تهدف إلى إبراز أثر الوقف ودوره في المجال التعليمي في غينيا بيساو، وقد قسّمناها إلى ثلاثة مباحث؛ فالمبحث الأول يتضمن هيكلة الدراسة، والمبحث الثاني يبين معنى الوقف لغةً واصطلاحاً، ثم مشروعيته وإعماله في المجال التعليمي، وتناول المبحث الثالث وقت ظهور الوقف في غينيا بيساو وكيفية تطوره إبان المراحل الثلاثة؛ مرحلة ما قبل الاستعمار البرتغالي، وأثناء الاستعمار وبعده. فاستخلص الباحثان أهمية الوقف والحاجة إلى تطويره، وعلى طلاب غينيا بيساو وعلمائها مضاعفة الجهد في ترميم الأوقاف الموجودة وإنعاشها في مجالات التنمية كالتعليم، وبناء المساجد وعمارتها، وتشغيل المدارس والخلاوي. = Throughout history, the Islamic world has seen the Waqf system emerge as a cornerstone in its societal framework, significantly impacting social, economic, and educational sectors. These endowments have played a crucial role in fostering a multitude of scholars and experts in various fields. This research focuses on the vital aspect of Waqf, with a specific emphasis on its application in the educational sector of Guinea-Bissau, a country with a population just over three million. The importance of this study lies in its aim to rejuvenate a key element of Islamic societal contribution. The objective of this research is to examine the influence and function of Waqf in the educational landscape of Guinea-Bissau, divided into three detailed sections. The initial section outlines the study's framework. The second section provides an in-depth analysis of the concept of Waqf, investigating its linguistic and technical definitions, its legal basis, and its implementation in the realm of education. The final section presents a historical overview of the development of Waqf in Guinea-Bissau, tracking its progression through various stages: pre-Portuguese colonization, during the colonial period, and the postcolonial era. The study concludes by highlighting the critical importance of Waqf and the need for its further development, calling on Guinea-Bissau's students and scholars to intensify their efforts in restoring and enhancing existing Waqfs, thus contributing to developmental sectors such as education, mosque construction and maintenance, and the management of educational institutions and traditional Islamic learning centers.
