Abstract

تعنى هذه الورقة البحثية بمعالجة مدى إسهام الموارد المائية في تحقيق الأمن الغذائي في الوطن العربي، من منطلق أن الماء له دور رئيس في تحقيق الأمن الغذائي؛ حيث تعتمد سلسلة إنتاج الغذاء بشكل كبير على توافر هذا المورد الحيوي وإدارته على نحو سليم، ومن ثم تأتي الأولوية لترشيد استخدام المياه والحفاظ عليها لضمان الأمن الغذائي على المدى الطويل، لقد توصلت هذه الدراسة إلى أنه يمكن أن تؤدي ندرة المياه إلى صراعات ومنافسات بين القطاعات المختلفة، مثل: الزراعة، والصناعة، والاستخدام المنزلي؛ لذلك فإن ضمان توافر الموارد المائية وتوزيعها العادل أمر ضروري لتحقيق الأمن الغذائي والتنمية المستدامة، كما تعد الإدارة السليمة لموارد المياه أمرا حيويا للتخفيف من الآثار السلبية لتغير المناخ. = This research paper deals with the extent to which water resources contribute to achieving food security in the Arab world, from the premise that water has a major role in achieving food security, as the food production chain depends heavily on the availability of this vital resource and its proper management, and then the priority comes to rationalize and preserve water use to ensure long-term food security, this study has found that water scarcity can lead to conflicts and competitions between different sectors, Ensuring the availability and equitable distribution of water resources is essential for food security and sustainable development, and sound management of water resources is vital to mitigate the negative effects of climate change
