Abstract

This paper examines the role of Zakat in combating poverty through the study of experiences in certain countries. The thesis sheds light on how Zakat is organized and managed as a mechanism to provide financial and social support to the poor and needy. The study illustrates the impact of Zakat in improving living standards and offering better economic opportunities for individuals with limited income. The thesis highlights successful experiences from selected countries, including Jordan, Malaysia, and Saudi Arabia, demonstrating how effective Zakat systems contribute to reducing poverty rates and enhancing sustainable development.
