Abstract
The aim of the presentation is to share the speaker's experience on how researchers need to ensure that their research is able to produce distinctive innovations that would impact the Ummah in positive ways. The issue of reproductive responsibility is highlighted to show that innovation in the area of legal research could be done. In this case, a proposed legislation was the resulting innovation that considered the responsibilities when reproducing.
